Need a ladle?

I just had to laugh the other morning when I came downstairs and saw this:

In my quest to encourage self sufficiency with my boys, I've taught them how to get the proper tools needed for breakfast....ya know, in case I don't feel like joining them at say, 6:45 ish.

I love this and can so relate. My kids have been known to use monster bowls, you know the ones that fit the whole bag of cereal in them. I am glad that they do it themselves. Next step: teach them how to clean it up! Funny kids!

Hey Kari! What cute kids you have! All three are just darling! I just have to laugh at this! My kids aren't quite at the self sufficient age yet, but Kermit once set the table using a huge monster fork & he couldn't figure out why I was laughing at him as he stuck his salad in his mouth with a huge fork!
I was reading your profile page & I think we must be related b/c we share a lot of the same interests! =) You've inspired me to fill out my profile page one of these days. Love your taste in movies! Julie Andrews and Hayley Mills are my favorite! ANYWAY...I've had fun reading up on your cute family via the blog. Just wanted to say hello to you and all your family!
